Tradition
Our Roots
The Scout Movement of Jit Sin High School was founded by passionate teachers and community leaders in 1958. What started with a dozen recruits has grown into a movement shaping hundreds of young lives.
Our Affiliation
We are affiliated with Persekutuan Pengakap Malaysia (PPM) and operate under the guidance of experienced Scout Leaders who volunteer their time to mentor the next generation.
Our Legacy
Today we carry forward a legacy of excellence — in competitions, in service, and in character building. Our alumni serve across Malaysia and beyond.
Founding
Troop established at Jit Sin Independent School with 14 founding members.
First State Championship
Gold at the Penang State Scout Competition for the first time.
National Jamboree
First delegation represents Penang District at the National Scout Jamboree.
International Jamboree
Six scouts represent Malaysia at the World Scout Jamboree in Chile.
Digital Badges
Launched one of Malaysia's first scout digital literacy badge programmes.
65th Anniversary
Celebrated with a landmark camp attended by over 200 alumni.
